Hal Jacobs
Since the early 1990s, I've worked as a freelance writer, editor for academic publications, and ghost writer. From 2001 to 2005, I wrote a regular book review column in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution devoted to southern novels (“Reading the South”). I'm currently working on a book that is a half-memoir about growing up in Florida under the influence of sandlot baseball and, years later, becoming a baseball dad for my son's 12-year-old team ("Ball Crazy").
